Rules

universebid is a public pay-to-rank site. There are no ads, no API keys, and no revenue share. You pay to stand on a board. Rank is the bid — nothing else.

The boards

• Solar system: the Sun, eight planets, and Earth's Moon are independent auctions. List a website or X @handle. #1 is painted on that globe.
• Top Celebrity: one list of celebrities, filtered by sports, singer, actor, entrepreneur, or misc. Identity is the name. Add a photo URL, optionally a link.
• Tier list: one list split into Ultra (1) / GOAT (2) / S+ (3) / S (4) / A+ (5) / A (6) by rank. Everyone after #21 sits on the list below. Identity is the label. Add an image URL, optionally a link.

How ranking works

• New listings are whole US dollars, $1 at a time, up to $999,999. The solar system opens at $10. Top Celebrity and the tier list open at $1.
• Taking #1 costs at least $1 more than the current top bid. Paying less still puts you on that board at whatever rank that bid can take. Equal bids stay in the order they were placed — the older bid keeps the higher rank.
• Enter the same identity again on the same board to raise that listing. The new bid must be at least $1 above your current bid; you only pay the difference. Someone else cannot take your rank by paying that difference — they must pay the full amount as a new listing.
• On the solar system, App Store, Play Store, GitHub, and similar platform links are keyed by their path, so different apps don't share a bid. Tracking query strings are ignored.

What you can list

• Solar system: a product website, or an X @handle.
• Top Celebrity / tier list: a name or label, a public image URL, and an optional link.
• Chat and invite links are not allowed — Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal, and similar.
• Links to adult/illegal content are not allowed. Will be removed if found
• Query parameters are stripped from listing links. Affiliate, referral, and tracking URLs will not work.
• Link shortener URLs are resolved to their destination, then re-checked.

After you pay

• Your listing is public. Opening it from this site sends visitors to the URL you submitted (query strings stripped, plus utm_source=universebid) and adds one click. Bots are ignored, and the same browser is not counted twice within an hour.
• A completed payment is what claims the rank. Bids are final. No refunds.
• Prices are USD. You are responsible for whatever your card issuer charges.
